Our missions is clear, "Loving Everyone, Anywhere, for God so loved the world". Our impact spans over 25 countries where we have sought out the overlooked and forgotten. We support the development of underprivileged communities by addressing the fundamental causes of poverty through education, community engagement, and holistic personal development. While we seek to alleviate material suffering, we also recognize that the true causes of poverty are much deeper and need to be addressed. Thus, our three pillars of service guides our work:  Education, Empower, and Encourage, as we build lasting change.

 Troy, Karen and Kindle Grace McAdams

Troy McAdams started serving in Mexico with his grandfather over 20 years ago. He studied in Guadalajara, Mexico, for two years before graduating from California State University with a major in Literature & Writing and minors in Spanish Language-Culture and Education. He received his master’s degree in international education through Concordia University and has completed postgraduate research and practicum on “Environments that Stimulate Organizational & Educational Creativity.” Serving the nations as a teacher, ordained Elder, preacher and leader, he has a unique ability to connect with people which provides hope and love right where they are.

Karen McAdams is the daughter of a pastor and has served in ministry since a young age. She completed biblical studies under the ministry of Tabernacle of Prayer Bible Institute and various ministry training that has guided her ministry to those around the globe. Kay has served in local and international missions before undergraduate study at Winston Salem State University, where she was the student body president with a double major in Political Science and History. Her work in graduate programs at Concordia University in International Business and Maryland University/College Park in International Studies prepared her for an effective ministry. As an ordained Elder, her dynamic teaching and preaching style has drawn tens of thousands to the love of God.

Kindle Grace McAdams, named for purpose (Setting Fire with God's Love), has embraced her commission with travel to over 15 countries sharing the natural curiosity of character, love for people, and desire to serve. She is a native speaker of both Mandarin-Chinese and English, and loves to create, express, and perform unique art forms. She finds friends wherever she goes and never misses an opportunity to make an impact.

We are redesigning education through purpose driven schools

The purpose of this project is to build ten dynamic schools in ten desolate places over the course of ten driven years.

PurposED Schools:

• PurposED School, Ghana- The school is in the finishing phase with 20 students who are enrolled for the coming school year. The school will serve the Afieyna population and help families move from hopelessness to hope.

• Albania

• Romania, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone (final location to be determined)

Journey Global Missions was inspired by Paul’s missionary journeys to Asia Minor and Europe which played a crucial role in the formation and development of the First Century Church. Today Journey Global Missions continues to embrace the biblical fundamentals of the early Church by assisting and working with the local Church and those sent and supported by the local Church. Paul’s journey, his inspired teachings and instruction which started in the local Church at Antioch were consistent with Matthew 28: 19-20 when Jesus said: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you;”
